There’s a moment a lot of us know. You’re deep in one tradition, or maybe drifting between several, and you feel the pull of something that doesn’t fit neatly anywhere. You ask a question and the room gets quiet. Or you find yourself drawn to a practice that your faith community doesn’t have language for, and your spiritual community doesn’t have the theological depth for.
You end up holding things separately, in different hands, hoping they don’t collide.
That’s a lonely way to seek.
Heastemea exists because every sincere search deserves a home — not a tribunal, not a syllabus, just a place to keep going.
My own path is rooted in the red letters — the words of Jesus himself, the radical hospitality and table-turning honesty of them — woven together with practices and wisdom from other traditions that have deepened rather than diminished that foundation. I’m not here to convince you of my path. I’m here because I believe your path is worth taking seriously too.
